Fine dining chef Remy Lefebvre (formerly from Butcher's Block at Raffles Hotel) has opened his very own restaurant in Singapore. Located at CHIJMES, Casa Restaurant by Remy Lefebvre is a contemporary woodfire restaurant designed to create the ease and comfort of a family residence.
Over at Chijmes, Casa Restaurant by Remy Lefebvre focuses on seafood and vegetables cooked over a woodfire. Reservations have been picking up since it opened last Monday, says chef-partner Lefebvre, 44.
Known as a dining hotspot, the historic Chijmes welcomes a new player: Casa Restaurant by Remy Lefebvre. Step through the glass-doored entrance and you'll be welcomed by the 35-seater dining space awash in hues of blue, sage green and ivory. The interior is an extension of the locale with its arched mirrors, oar-like shutters and spoked fanlights.

Remy Lefebvre has come full circle in his career in Singapore, starting out as an employee and now as a business partner of Plan B Ventures, the F&B group that first brought him to Singapore in 2014 to helm its Mexican restaurant El Mero Mero.
